Over five years ago, we started to pursue our passion for this noble breed, the Great Dane, and reviewed a large volume of old and new information, tips and recommendations available. The research concluded that the main key point in breeding is to always do so in order to improve the breed. This principal is the corner stone of what represents Casa Bellota. We are not breeders however, but we want to have danes which reflect the best standards as maintained by the best breeders in the world; breeders who devote themselves to maintain the high standards in order to continue the proven bloodlines of this noble breed.

Our research also made it clear that common breeders in our region did not maintain this same discipline. Our scope therefore widened to include all breeders from Latin America, North America and Europe and our research of over five years, finally singled out two exceptional breeders who we felt succeeded in maintaining an excellent bloodline as well as exemplifying what it means to respect and admire this breed.

One is Del Castello delle Rocche, Italia, www.castellodellerocche.it , and the other Doggenzucht von Schlesien, Germany, www.doggenzucht-von-schlesien.de, who have produced the type of dane: color, size, temperament, etc., we felt epitomizes what draws us to this breed. There were numerous other breeders with very impressive dogs, however language, location and time made it impossible for us to include them in the selection process. 

Fortunately, the house of Del Castello delle Rocche, Italia and the house of Doggenzucht von Schlesien, Germany, produced various litters together and we were able to acquire a black male,  Donati, and a merle female, Chayenne, from different ancestry to have as our companions.

As things are in nature, our female has had her litter of eight wonderful puppies and we’re now looking for a good home for them. Should you reside in this region, and are looking for a true great dane representing the amazing qualities these dogs possess, then contact us for a visit. What we paid for their parents is above the norm and we don’t expect anyone to pay that much no matter their passion, our prices however are to show what class of dogs they are and to make sure the issue of owning a pet is taken seriously.

The most important point for us however, is to have them go to a good home: space, time, food, water love and affection…so in the end, don’t worry about the cost too much, you show us you can take care of one of these puppies and we will find a way to make it possible…please don’t worry about the price.
